| Volunteering at TSM Are you looking to help where there is need at TSM? Volunteering is a great way to grow spiritually, get involved and make a significant contribution to what God is doing. There is no greater joy experienced than to know that you were used by God in a way that had an eternal impact on someone else's life. When you make yourself available to help where ever there is need you are sowing a great seed to help enrich the lives of others when you become a volunteer. There are gifts and talents in you that need to be used by God for his purpose and glory. If you feel lead to serve as a volunteer, we can ensure you that when you position yourself to sow a seed of servanthood, the blessings of God will come back to you. God has used Team Soteria Ministries to enrich and transform the lives of many individuals and those that serve are helping to assist the anointing power of God. Every volunteer plays a part in ushering in God's anointing whether it's the praise & worship leader or the smiling greeter at the door or the person dedicated to show up early to help assist in ministry setup or the person who fetches water to the person willing to help where ever there is needed. If you're a member of Team Soteria and you aren't currently serving at TSM please pray about becoming a volunteer today. If the Holy Spirit is leading you to serve at TSM please contact the staff administer so that you can get on board. The harvest is ripe so go ahead and put your hands to the plow and become a part of what God is doing through Team Soteria Ministries, It's a decision you'll never regret. Ministry Avenues: Childrens Ministry (Filled): Do you love guiding and caring for young ones? We host Childrens Ministry every Sunday to assist in helping parents attending service solely focus on the word without potential distractions. You could have opportunities to assist in child care in addition to praying for the young ones of Team Soteria Ministries. Duties: Share the love of Christ with young children, through a creative curriculum, fun activities & bible stories. Time Commitment: Once a week worship service Age Requirement: 15 and older Other Requirements: All volunteers working in our children's ministry must be members, completed Discipleship 101 and may undergo a complete a background check. Usher/Greeter/Guide (1-Volunteer needed): When we have a guest at TSM, we want to ensure that they have an awesome experience with God and with Team Soteria Ministries. Creating a worship experience that is free from distraction and focused on the gospel is an essential element of every service. The Usher volunteer should strive to minimize stress, distractions and anxiety so that people can open their hearts to worship God. Do you have a cheerful smile and enjoy greeting people? Do you naturally & actively demonstrates God's love with every smile, hello and handshake. We want everyone who walks into the door at TSM to feel like they are welcomed with open arms. Duties: Maintain an energetic, warm and friendly countenance for all our members and guests and ensure the door is softly closed as people enter and exit as not to disturb service. Creating a worship experience that is free from distraction and focused on the gospel is an essential element of every service. The Usher volunteer should strive to minimize stress, distractions and anxiety so that people can open their hearts to worship God.Reach out to new guests to engage with them and answer any questions they may have and work to connect them to others in the church. Need to be knowledgeable of all areas of the church and good at getting to know new people. Also duties include ensuring that everyone is welcomed coming into our services, helping people find a seat and facilitating special parts of our worship experience. Time Commitment: Once a week service Age Requirement: 15 and older Other Requirements: must arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before service begins Media & Photography (1 Slot Filled & 1 Needed): During our Sunday services, Evangelism outings and special events, we use many different aspects of media to capture life changing experiences. Whether it is Video, Sound or Lighting, if you have any interest in helping out in this area, we would love to have you join us. Time Commitment: Varies by event Age Requirement: 13 and older Cart Transporter (Filled): At TSM we love life and because we are the body of Christ it’s vitally important that we function as one body being different members. There are many different tasks that require various degrees of set-up and tear-down. If you are a person who enjoys setting up to assist in preparing the way for God’s anointing to flow and you enjoy behind the scenes work that is so important, then this is the avenue to use your talents. Time Commitment: Once a week service Age Requirement: 15 and older Other Requirements: must arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before service begins Office Administration (Filled): God has blessed TSM in different ways with different skills and gifts of others. Volunteering as an Office Administrator requires dedication, time, organization & focus to follow through. Duties: Volunteer should be gifted in organizing, sorting, data processing, making phone calls or any other administrative type activity, and they draw excitement and energy from these things. This is an awesome way to support TSM from behind the scenes. Time Commitment: Varies, details available depending upon giftedness Age Requirement: 18 and older Facility Maintenance (N/A): Are you a handyman at heart and love to fix things that are broken? This person should natural enjoy problem solving and working with their hands. If God has blessed you with these unique abilities, this could be the place you should volunteer. Duties: The Maintenance volunteer should have a natural passion to problem solve with prior minimum background experience. Time Commitment: Varies Age Requirement: 18 and older |
